Dishwasher

At Black Bear Diner, everyone’s job is to make sure that every guest has a great experience.

The purpose of the DMO position is to make sure that all utensils and service ware are cleaned, sanitized and stocked for all other crew members.

The result is the diner runs smoothly, dishes and utensils are safe, and every guest is satisfied and wants to return.

To accomplish this, wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment according to Black Bear Diner specifications.

Keep the dishroom and equipment clean and organized, and complete all sidework.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Load, run and unload dish machine.
Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
Monitor dish machine water temperature and chemical usage to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
Keep dishroom clean and organized.
Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
Assist other employees as needed in cleaning and organizing.
Bag and haul dishroom trash to dumpster at designed times.
Complete sidework for station and shift.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the manager-on-duty.
Qualifications
Must be able to work in an environment that is often hot, noisy, and congested.
Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel.
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).

We are currently recruiting for an Assembler to join the Benchmade Knife Company team.

The Assembler is responsible for following written and oral instruction in order to perform a variety of assembly operations to assemble small parts into functioning knives.

This role performs fittings and alignments to ensure free action of moveable parts.

The Assembler also performs cosmetic inspection of the components as they are assembling in order to ensure a high quality standard.

Once inspected, the Assembler tests the knife to ensure functionality and perform minor troubleshooting of any problems.
