Based out of our Corvallis office, this role will be key to promote travel sales and offer an exceptional travel experience to our members.

Your role on the team:

As a Travel Agent, you will exhibit exceptional member service while providing advice and recommendations to enhance their travel experience—confirming all travel arrangements, building rapport with members, and fostering long-lasting travel connections.

You will research, reserve, and finalize domestic and international travel arrangements including cruises, tours, resort packages, and activities.

You are focused, detail-oriented and thrive in a diverse, fast-paced environment.

Desired education/skills/experience:

Member Service Representative (Call Center)

AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for individuals who are passionate about helping people to join our World-Class Call Center!

$1,000 Signing Bonus!

Paid after 90-days of active employment

Location: Onsite training.

Based out of our Portland, OR or Boise, ID Call Center locations.

Work from home eligible after 30-to-90-day training period.

Hours: Day, Swing OR Graveyard.

Full-time with set schedule.

Start Date : Next training class targeted to start third week of February 2022.

Pay: Starting at $16.25 per hour PLUS shift and bilingual differentials up to an additional $3.75 per hour.

High school education or equivalent.

CMM Programmer

Description:CMM Programmer will work within Calypso on a Zeiss Machine.

Should have some experience using Calypso, there will be some training on the programming but should have a background in inspections.

This person will need to be a “solver”, someone who finds a problem and is interested in talking with the machinist, understanding the design aspects and finding the root cause, rather than handing it off to someone else.

They will utilize GD on the blueprints to understand the product.

Fitness Specialist

Role and Responsibilities

The Fitness Specialist is responsible for managing the fitness floor, being responsive to members and guests by offering assistance, and educating Active Wellness members on the safe and correct use of cardio and weight training equipment.

This person also performs assessments, provides package prescriptions, answers fitness, and wellness-related questions, and sells personal training packages.

Specific Responsibilities

Essential Functions
Sell and deliver personal training sessions to clients
Schedule and conduct new member onboarding sessions
Assist with new member outreach and follow-up with low users
Assist members in using safe and effective exercise forms during their workouts
Maintain a clean, safe and orderly fitness floor, racking weights.

Includes picking up loose towels, water bottles, magazines, cleaning equipment, etc.
Perform fitness assessments (movement and posture assessments, blood pressure checks, body composition tests) as requested by members
Support, teach, and encourage members to meet his/her fitness goals
Assist in the development and implementation of new fitness programs/classes
Administer emergency care to members and guests in need of assistance
Work as a TEAM with all other departments
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor

Other Functions
Be knowledgeable about all programs and activities offered by Active Wellness
Promote club services and activities
Assist with routine maintenance of equipment
Assist with keeping the club well stocked and clean
Attend Active Wellness site meetings and training
Handle injury and illness and security incident reporting
Requirements:
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Communication skills, customer service oriented
Operational knowledge of resistance training equipment and proper form
Knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics
Knowledge of injury prevention and basic rehabilitation
Knowledge of basic movement and posture assessments and body composition assessments
Ability to calculate target heart rate
Basic knowledge in nutrition
Four (4) years college degree in fitness related field or certificate from accredited 2-year program at a university preferred
Minimum one (1) NCCA or NBFE accredited certification
Previous health club personal training experience is a plus
Must be detail oriented, organized and highly responsive with a commitment to customer service
Strong verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills, customer service skills, results oriented, ability to multitask, and commitment to the fitness industry
AED/CPR/First Aid Certified
National Personal Training Certification(s) required (see approved Certification, Licenses and Permits list) as well as modality-specific certifications as required by role (if applicable)
Proof of citizenship or legal status
Physical and Working Conditions
Ability to take the responsibility for the health and safety of others

Ability to stand for several hours in the same shift; ability to lift 25 lbs

Fitness club environment

Must follow OSHA and Active Wellness safety standards
