CMM Programmer

Description:CMM Programmer will work within Calypso on a Zeiss Machine.

Should have some experience using Calypso, there will be some training on the programming but should have a background in inspections.

This person will need to be a “solver”, someone who finds a problem and is interested in talking with the machinist, understanding the design aspects and finding the root cause, rather than handing it off to someone else.

They will utilize GD on the blueprints to understand the product.

• Perform measurement inspections of parts with metrology equipment
• Solves complex programming challenges with Coordinated Machine Measurement (CMM)
• Run and program CMM inspection equipment
• Read and interpret drawings and blueprints with GD dimensioning and specifications
• Assist Engineers and Inspectors in developing or modifying inspection procedures as needed
• Perform all tasks and procedures in a regulated environment with minimal supervision
• Communicates effectively amongst a cross-functional team of Inspectors, Operators, Engineers and Technicians
• Multi-tasks effectively and performs other essential tasks and responsibilities as assignedSkills:CMM Programming, Calypso, Zeiss, INspection, Cmm, Gd, Cmm program, Final inspection, Programming, Calibration, inspection reportTop Skills Details:CMM Programming,Calypso,Zeiss,INspectionAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVE
– Calypso or PC-Dmis programming on a Zeiss Machine
– Inspection on metals
– GD Symbol knowledge and practical application
– Prior work with the machining and engineering team to solve a problem BEST VS AVE
– Worked in an AS9100 environment, familiar with the documentation style
– Root Cause Analysis
