Ready Mix Driver -McMinnville

*Job Summary* The Ready-Mix Driver will be responsible for all duties of the position, including the transporting of freshly mixed concrete from the batch plant to the job site in a safe manner.

This individual will be responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled.

The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from. *Compensation* $18.00-$30.00 DOE *Responsibilities* * Conduct daily pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections* Deliver ready-mix concrete to various job sites* Operate a multi-axle mixer truck safely, obeying all traffic laws* Clean and wash vehicle to include the removal of concrete buildup on all exterior parts of the mixer* Must be willing to work according to customer demands* Operate a radio to communicate with company personnel* Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, state, and federal regulations* Responsible for reporting all incidents/injuries to management as soon as they occur* Attend safety meetings as scheduled by management *Education* High School Diploma/GED *Requirements/Qualifications* * Must have currentCommercial Class A or B drivers license with airbrakes and tank endorsement* Safe driving record (will have to provide DMV H-6 printout)
– no serious moving violations within the past 36 months; no more than two moving violations within the past 24 months* Must have a current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Certificate* Ability to read a map and understand verbal and GPS driving route instructions* Must have familiarity with slumps* Good attendance and punctuality a must* Ability to work in extremes of hot and cold weather* Must have the physical ability to: climb, stoop, bend, squat, frequently lift extension chutes (up to 60 lbs.), stretch, drive/sit and shift gears* Adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations* Must be able to work a flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends and nights, may be required*Preferred:** Experience in ready-mix or heavy construction industries* 2+ years of commercial driving experience *Conditions of Employment* Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Some positions require FMCSA regulated on-going drug and alcohol testing.#NE
