FP/IM needed for a hospitalist role.
Call times for Hospitalist
– 24hr call for 3 days or 4 day stretches.
Admits done 7am 7pm, no admits overnight but does carry panel of patients overnight.
Not expected to do any procedures but can be credentialed for any usual in hospital procedures.
Can be a hospitalist only position that would do an adjusted schedule to only be inpatient.
Usually providers do outpatient and inpatient
– hospital days and clinic days.
Won’t see clinic patients on days you are on call.
Strong hourly rate, travel, lodging, malpractice provided for locums.
Plenty of benefits for perm employees.
