Director of Finance and Accounting

SUMMARY: We are seeking a Director of Finance and Accounting at our Hillsboro, OR location.

As our director, you will work with our Finance Team and other key teams to ensure our monthly close process is quick, efficient, and accurate.

From financial reporting and process improvement, you will engage with key stakeholders across our organization and have an opportunity to wow them with your unwavering commitment to value-added results.

With very strong growth potential and reporting to the CFO, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas.

It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills to best support the accounting team.

This position plays a key role in the organization's strategic financial decision-making and fiduciary responsibility.

This position manages all aspects of financial risk; develops and implements financial systems; ensures compliance with regulatory and funder requirements; and leads an effective financial management infrastructure to ensure alignment between financial goals and strategic priorities, and the sustained financial health of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/ other duties as assigned ** Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity * Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements * Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule Required educations and/or experience: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance * CPA Designation * 3-5 years in a public accounting firm * Near Expert level in Microsoft Excel
