O2O is the intersection of Nike’s Online and Offline Channels, including our digital platforms and our physical destinations, with a focus on the consumer journeys that engage both.
Blending these channels into a seamless experience is at the heart of our Nike Direct strategy, and as the O2O Analytics Insights Manager you will be helping to guide Nike on the best path forward to achieve that goal.
You will use a consumer-centric data set to quantify all aspects of these experiences including defining success, diagnosing opportunities, predicting future impact, and prescribing experiments to expand our knowledge.
You will support a multi-functional team on a variety of initiatives that impact our O2O Service Portfolio and help our partners understand, interpret, and take action on data-driven insights.
The right individual will be on top of retail trends and understand the opportunities that can drive the Nike brand.
They will possess a proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze and make recommendations that bring change to a complex organization.
This position requires a high-energy, self-motivated individual with strong technical and analytical skills, high detail-orientation and demonstrable ability to run tasks under deadlines with competing priorities.
Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the Nike Direct O2O Global team to find opportunities where we can use data to make better decisions.
* Build novel methods of analyzing data that could lead us to new insights or dispel myths about old ways of thinking.
* Deliver presentations grounded in data that identify key trends, themes and offer recommendations on solutions to key questions.
* Serve as the specialist on analytics across several workstreams, providing a perspective on what data we have, what analytics can tell us about it, and how we can use it to optimize the best experience for our consumers and our business.
What you bring to Nike: * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
* Analytics experience in a direct-to-consumer environment required.
* Strong presentation skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, including results packaging and development of management presentations.
* Experience synthesizing and packaging complex analyses and delivering results to non-technical audiences including senior leadership teams.
* Advanced SQL skills required.
Experience querying big data environments preferred (e.g.
Hadoop, Hive, Snowflake, Databricks).
* Strong Tableau visualization skills preferred.
Experience in Tableau Server environment ideal.
