$1,000 Hiring Bonus !!Summary: The purpose of the Master Data Management (MDM) clerk position is to enter and maintain data in the DPI Oracle System.

Areas of responsibility include item master and related files and screens, vendor master and related files and screens, vendor cost changes, vendor promotions, EFT set-up and maintenance, and DPI Vendor Portal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Communicate with internal departments, vendors and brokers via telephone and e-mail to collect appropriate data about promotions, cost changes, Electronic Fund accounts, new items and vendor information for uploading into DPI’s internal database.Analyze and proof vendor, broker and internal department paperwork for entry into database, including vendor promotions, vendor cost changes, new items, and electronic fund transfer (EFT) setup and maintenance and the DPI Vendor Portal.Extract cost change data and provide to buyers for verification.Assist vendors with paperwork, verify provided information is complete and submit to product supplier.Setup and maintain user accounts for electronic fund transfers (EFT) and provide customer service for account setup for vendors.

Support vendors with account set up on the Vendor PortalRespond to vendors, brokers and internal staff regarding questions or issues with submitted paperwork, including troubleshooting and correcting discrepancies or incomplete submissionsReceive requests from buyers for changes to items or supplier information and access and modify database accordingly.Create and maintain internal and external manuals, processes and procedures.

Provide administrative assistance to the MDM Manager and other internal staff as needed.Other Duties and Responsibilities:May transport files and paperwork to and from storage areas.Maintains clean work environment, including picking up trash and cleaning minor spills.Other duties may be assigned to fulfill DPI’s objectives and/or job duties and requirements may be changed as needed to meet current and future business needs.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The employee must be proficient in English and basic math skills.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point) is required.

Oracle or AS 400 experience is preferred.

Experience in food distribution is preferred. Work Environment: The work environment is indoors in a professional office environment.

The floor surfaces are carpeted in office areas and conference rooms with vinyl floor covering typical in hallways, break rooms and computer rooms. Work Hours: The work schedule is 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.

The workday is typically 8 am – 5 pm, but start times vary.

Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs.

The employee may be required to work overtime, holidays or weekends. Physical and Mental Demands: Sedentary.

Exerting up to 10 of force occasionally (up to one-third of the time), and/or greater than a negligible amount of force frequently (one-third to two-thirds of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Knows and follows proper safety protocols; DPI grooming, hygiene and dress code.

Apply basic knowledge of the Vendor Portal operation procedures for assisting vendors with use.

Perform mathematic functions and use verbal and writing skills to communicate and accurately verify data and information.

Apply basic knowledge of MDM operations for DPI compliance with local, state and federal requirementsSupervisory Responsibilities: None
