Then our 3D performance team has opportunities for you.Our performance team is responsible for improving the performance of Intel’s 3D graphics on Windows platforms.

We investigate 3D game and application functionality and performance to root cause performance issues, identify possible solutions, and develop driver improvements.We own improving 3D performance for future platforms, soon-to-be released platforms, and already shipping platforms.

We focus on both integrated and discrete graphics.Responsibilities:We are looking for 3D graphics developers eager to make an impact on user experience running 3D applications on Intel hardware.

As a member of our 3D performance team, you will be responsible for:* On future platforms: working closely with 3D architecture to evaluate feature options and develop driver improvements.* Soon to be released platforms: investigating configuration options, running experiments to confirm results, and collaborating with others to bring products to release meeting performance targets.* Already shipping platforms: collaborating with Intel’s solutions group in assisting game studios and application developers in efficient use of Intel graphics.* Help junior engineer team members grow in expertise and contribution.Behavioral traits that we are looking for:* Strong teamwork problem-solving and influencing skills with the ability to work across multiple geographies.* Good written and verbal communication.QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum:You should have a Bachelors in Computer Science or a related field with 2+ years related experience, or a MS in Computer Science or a related field with 1+ years related experience.Your experience should cover the following prioritized areas:* Programming in one of: 3D game development, 3D application or rendering engines, device drivers, or compilers* C++ programmingPreferred:* Strong familiarity with computer architecture* Experience programing with DirectX, Metal, Vulkan, or OpenGL* Knowledge of modern GPU rendering algorithms or GPU architecture* Experience locating and resolving performance bottlenecks in some context* Knowledge of operating systemsInside this Business GroupIntel Architecture, Graphics, and Software (IAGS) brings Intel’s technical strategy to life.
