Participate in the transition of new products into production.
Participate in project team meetings provides accurate status and raising issues and risks.
Develop and perform test procedures with necessary fixtures to ensure that products are performing according to specifications.
Test procedure generation. Determine the testing protocol for design and prototype validation as well as final product acceptance testing.
Assist with prototypes and engineering builds (hands on capability required).
Provide manufacturing support as part of a cross functional development team
Operate all types of electrical and mechanical test equipment and tools (oscilloscopes, generators, logic analyzers, force and strain gauges, etc.) for design verification and engineering activities
Compile/validate documentation packages from Engineering/Mfg Engineering teams and provide maintenance of controlled electronic documents, specs, forms, etc.
Consistent and accurate data entry of items, Bills of Materials, ECO’s, Costing, Pricing, and Item Master maintenance into Oracle
Coordinate and track the routing and processing of applicable documents
Create reports from Oracle for engineering BOMs
Creates and updates Engineering Documentation guidelines
Assists engineers in NPD or sustaining engineering activities
At least 5 years of experience deploying embedded system electronics. Demonstrated experience with CAD tools for electrical and mechanical design and simulation. Excellent problem solving skills 1 year experience working with engineering related documentation, specifications, ERP systems, PLM tools, or documentation repositories Demonstrated experience with document configuration management Demonstrated experience with building BOM and entry into ERP system Demonstrated experience with ECO and engineering release processes Detailed, methodical, accurate in written documentation Work well in a team, but can work effectively independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated experience with Windows operating systems and office applications
Education: Associates Degree
