Production Packaging Cleanup

SUMMARY

Clean and sterilizes machinery and equipment used in the process. Cases product along

with other miscellaneous duties.

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

In the performance of work, the incumbent is required to be in compliance with local,

state, federal safety rules and regulations and the safety policies and procedures of Kraft

Heinz Food Company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following.

Other duties assigned:

? Checks quality attributes of product and complete appropriate reports as

necessary or as directed.

? Mixes cleaning solutions and diluted acids as directed.

? Sprays machines, tanks, floors, grounds and conveyors with water or

appropriately mixed chemicals to loosen and remove oil or other foreign material.

? Scrubs and rinses with water or appropriate chemicals, floors, walls, machines,

equipment, tunnels, tanks, tables, pans, bowls, compartments, and conveyors

using a variety of cleaning tools with established cleaning procedures.

? Reassembles cleaned equipment and machinery as directed.

? Manually dump, lift, move all cleaning equipment (tubs, bins, or other containers

of waste, product chemicals, etc.) as necessary or directed.

? Miscellaneous work such as scraping, inventory, lifting, and carrying heavy

objects, assisting other personnel in a variety of cleanup activities.

? Record and report appropriately on safety, production, quality, sanitation and

maintenance issues to all necessary individuals. (Maintain all operator reports

accurate and timely) including checklists.

? Required to recycle cardboard, plastics and paper.

? Stage cases

? Builds, erects, and fills cases

? Checks bags for good seals, correct codes, bag alignment, extreme under and

over weights, bag flaws.

? Inspect to ensure that correct bag is in the correct case when casing
