Brief Job Description:
Drive a project to operationalize our critical customer list, including:
Define and manage the project plan.
Identify key deliverables.
Coordinate stakeholder contributions to produce deliverables and accomplish the plan.
Ensure deliverable quality meets our business needs.
Facilitate gathering requirements from customers and internal SMEs.
Translate requirements into capabilities, features, products, and processes.
Develop a governance framework.
Define new and update existing business processes for customer service and outage restoration activities.
Coordinate work with IT to ensure the underlying technology fully supports the business processes in an efficient and effective manner.

This project operationalizes our recently updated Critical Customer List (CCL).

The CCL identifies and categorizes facilities and customers that are most important to how our region functions.
These include hospitals, water and wastewater plants, and many other important parts of our infrastructure.
Our recent updates include establishing more types of critical customers.

This project will:
Develop a governance framework to keep the CCL current over time
Update operational business processes that determine how we prioritize power restoration and how we interact with our customers during outages.
Develop effective means to use the CCL.

These could include reports, dashboards, configurable query extracts, integrations between IT tools, etc.
Ensure that the supporting IT tools can accommodate the list, governance of the list, as well as the business processes that use the list.

This may require tool automation or integration.

What is the size of the team this resource will be working with?

This role will lead a team of 10-15 stakeholders.

Education requirements or certification preference?

College degree preferred.
Any relevant certifications like PMP are great, but honestly, I’d rather see demonstrated results.
Show us you’ve done this kind of role before, and that you can jump in and run without needing tons of hand holding.

Required Skills:
Demonstrated project management background, including leading cross-functional teams
Demonstrated business analysis skills including requirements gathering and business process definition and documentation
Ability to jump into an ambiguous and unfamiliar remote-work environment and lead the team to through the project
# of Years of Experience:
10 years or more.
