Inbound Planner

This role will be responsible for the movement of freight throughout the Oak Harbor process in an efficient manner while meeting on-time service commitments and customer requirements.
Work with routing platform of Cheetah and liaison between IB Dock and P&D Dispatch for planning, routing, customer profiles and cross coverage for SUPV positions.
Work with dispatch for route efficiencies and customer specific routing
Work specifically with Inbound Supervisors for accurate Inbound dock set up and shipment flow
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
Plan and direct schedules through dock supervisors and drivers according to customer and Oak Harbor requirements.
Work with Routing Platform
Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
Previous experience in the LTL and/or Transportation Industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Effective organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
