SPY Transmitter Technician – Portland

In-Depth Engineering seeks mid-level SPY Transmitter Technicians to support the growing needs of our Aegis Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) program
– specifically ensuring the AN/SPY Radar Transmitter, Aegis Display System (ADS) and Tactical Data Information Links (TADIL) are operational and available including configuration, computer program operations and system interfaces.

Individuals must be physically able to work aboard a US Navy ship, lift up to 50lbs and work in an Industrial environment.

There may be opportunities to travel and support short underway at sea periods in support of testing.

This is a short-term assignment located in Portland, OR and we are offering PREMIUM PAY AND GREAT BENEFITS!

Provide equipment assessments and assist in modernizations

Solve hardware/software interface problems and document discrepancies

Assist in the resolution of logistics issues

Submit equipment status reports

Monitor and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures ensuring that tasks are performed within program and customer guidelines.

AAS degree with 3+ years of experience, or 7+ years of experience without a degree

Demonstrated experience working with computer networking switches and routers

Knowledge of Linux operating environments

Strong oral and written communication skills

Must be a US citizen

Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
