Retail Associate

Treasure Valley Cannabis Company is looking to hire experienced employees to add to our retail associate team!

Our company prides itself on offering our customers a craft cannabis experience they cannot get at any other dispensary in the country.

Our farm to table model boasts an outdoor food court/event center, a cannabis grow, and a cannabis processor all in one location, all visible and accessible from the retail sales floor.

We believe in providing a retail experience that allows the consumer to not only purchase cannabis, but to grow in their understanding of it as well.

Retail associates at TVCC are expected to embody our vision of a craft cannabis experience with an educational portion for the consumer like they have never seen before.

We are looking for hardworking individuals who enjoy talking about cannabis in fast paced and fun work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide exceptional customer service in accordance with established standards.

Develop and maintain rapport with our customers

Ensure customers’ concerns and/or questions are solved and answered promptly and efficiently and communicate customer requests and/or problems to Manager when needed

Help customers find the product they are looking for while providing any educational pieces they are missing about the product in a friendly and efficient manner

Communicate the effects of different types of cannabis to customers clearly and effectively

Follow all operating procedures as laid out by management

Set up and break down display cases daily.

Assist in display maintenance and housekeeping

Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock and participate in inventory counts

Fill customer orders

Ring up sales on Point-of-Sale System and process cash transactions

Frequently maintain dispensary’s cleanliness, i.e.

dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping and sanitization.

Maintain a positive work environment conducive to trust and respect for all employees, customers, and vendors

Perform other related work as required or expected by management
Requirements
At least 21 years of age

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Retail, cash handling and Point of Sales (POS) experience required

Experience in the cannabis industry highly desirable, but not required

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Proficient understanding of technology and various applications

Innate desire to achieve success and a work ethic to match

Willingness to follow and comply with all company policies

An OLCC Marijuana worker’s permit or the ability to acquire one

Availability to work weekends, nights, or mornings
