Position Snapshot
Field Supervisors at US Ecology manage labor crews and equipment for specific projects.
They also help enforce safety procedures and provide training for our team members.
Day in the Life
After checking in with your manager and grabbing your favorite beverage, you can expect to:
Meet with your team members onsite to discuss objectives for the day, and help troubleshoot any issues
Conduct procedural training
Coordinate with US Ecology project manager(s) to discuss and review project information.
Communicate with customer’s site representative on issues and solutions
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, transporters and treatment facilities
Review project expenditures
Document field activities for the day
Work on pre-bids, site walks, bids and marketing efforts
Meet with onsite subcontractors
Collect project related data, samples, electronic data as well as tracking equipment and materials for the purposed of managing project costs and invoice
Perform other duties as assigned
What you need to apply
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
2 yrs project management experience preferred
Strong computer skills
Supervisory experience in Industrial Services or Emergency Response
Proficiency with reading and interpreting project plans and specifications
Experience with industrial cleaning and heavy equipment
A valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus!)
Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
