Terrain Park Groomer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
-Maintains and grooms features in the terrain park and surrounding slopes
-Operates PB400 and PB600 snowcats in a safe and efficient manner
-Maintains fluid levels, performs daily machine inspections, and reports any/all damage to vehicle maintenance
-Works in conjunction with the Terrain Park Manager and Supervisor to organize and design terrain park layout.

-Oversees and assists with the building, installation, and transport of terrain park jibs and snow features
-Completes required hand/rake work around terrain park features when needed
-Assists the rest of the grooming crew when possible

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Valid drivers license
Minimum 5 years terrain park grooming experience including jump building, jib setting, and terrain park design
Knowledge of terrain park terminology and practices
Ability to ski/ride terrain park features preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is required to work evenings and/or overnight, weekends and holidays while in operation.

Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 60 pounds on an occasional basis, and a minimum of 20 pounds on a frequent basis.

Ability to work for extended periods of time while seated.

Manual dexterity to operate hand tools such as rakes, shovels, and basic carpentry tools.

Ability to work outside in ANY AND ALL weather conditions, including but not limited to rain, snow, sleet, high winds, and cold temperatures.

Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
