Responsibilities
Assist in streamlining the onboarding process
Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
Inform job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, or promotion opportunities when necessary
Schedule or conduct new employee orientations.
Maintain and update human resources documents, such as job description’s, employee handbooks, performance evaluation forms.
Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
Conduct exit interviews and provide appropriate feedback to enhance retention
Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.
Contact job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications.Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education, or job skills.
Develop or implement recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
Assist with analyzing employment-related data and prepare required reports.
Initiate innovative strategies to enhance retention efforts
Evaluate recruitment or selection criteria to ensure conformance to professional, statistical, or testing standards, recommending revisions, as needed.
Process COBRA notifications when needed
Help maintain OSHA compliance and standards
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
Accept a background check to be performed post job offer
Minimum 3 years of HR Generalist experience
Minimum of a High School Diploma
