ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Manage and oversee front of house operations in the absence of the Front of House Manager
Help achieve restaurant operational objectives
Plan and develop staff incentive programs
Assist in the planning of marketing strategies
Respond to customer concerns and questions
Control costs and minimize waste while ensuring high quality of preparation
Nurture a positive working environment
Maintain a safe, healthy, and secure working environment
Help maintain current reservation system and assist with training when needed
Promote and market the business
Help oversee stock levels and order supplies when needed
Coordinate communication between from of the house and back of the house
Assist in the preparation of staff schedule and offer recommendations
Assist the Front of House Manager with daily pre-shift meetings
Gather guest feedback and recommend improvements to management
Assist in administering training programs
Monitor labor and product expenses to remain within budget, meet goals, and successfully advertise and support the CMR brand
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
1+ years’ experience in a restaurant assistant management role in the hospitality industry
POS experience required
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Must have Washington MAST Card
Must have Washington Food Handler Card
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is required to work evenings, weekends and holidays while in operation.
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
