Dental Hygienist

OUR OFFICE: Northwest Periodontics and Dental Implants, the office of Dr.

Lawrence Hovey and Patrick Corning, is hiring an experienced hygienist to join our team.

We are located Northwest Portland at NW 25th and Lovejoy Street.

We are seeking a motivated and energetic team player who is looking for a long-term position.

A dedicated hygiene assistant will be provided Onsite training in perioscopy and access to courses in advanced instrumentation will be made available.

We invested in the Surgically Clean Air Filtration system in 2019.

This system provides medical-grade air filtration in each operatory and throughout the office resulting in complete filtration of our office air every 10 minutes.

This filtration system is 99.99% effective in filtering viruses and maintains UVC light viral deactivation for any particles that may remain.

An ADS Extraoral Suction System is also provided chairside.

We are also complying with and exceeding the recommendations from the CDC and ADA to provide the safest environment for our staff and patients.

State-of-the-art facility: We moved from our old location to our new office location in 2019.

The hygiene operatories were designed to provide the best comfort and ergomics for patient care.

Our office also maintains a kitchen, large staff room with staff lockers and coat closet.

We offer competitive wages with additional compensation for root planing and perioscopy procedures plus 401k, profit-sharing, full medical, 2-4 weeks PTO, parking pass, and scrubs This position is from Tuesday through Friday.

No weekends or nights.

Qualifications and duties include: Professional and dependable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding team player-friendly, positive, energetic, and upbeat Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Self-starter with a strong work ethic Ability to soothe and comfort anxious patients Must be comfortable with technology and have excellent computer skills Must have experience as a hygienist, preferably periodontal experience Must have all required Oregon licenses BENEFITS: Generous compensation, paid vacation, paid holidays, 401K retirement plan with profit-share, health insurance, and a great team with amazing doctors.
