Production Associate

We are currently hiring forProduction Workersfor a leading metal stamping manufacturer inFairview, OR.
This client works with precision metal stamping, four slide, heavy duty springs, mechanical assemblies, robotic welding, and integrated assemblies for a variety of markets.

Job Summary:

As a production worker, you will perform assemblies, secondary operations and operate basic mechanical equipment and ensure that finished goods meet company and client requirements.

– holiday pay

Pay:$18.50
– $22 DOE

Schedule:Monday
– Friday, 6:00 am
– 2:30 pm

Essential Functions:
Utilizes job travelers, blueprints, drawings, QSPs (Quality System Procedures) and PWIs (Process Work Instructions) to perform production operations.
Performs secondary operations and assemblies.
Operates basic mechanical equipment.
Minor setups or adjustments on basic mechanical equipment and/or setup assemblies.
Package Parts.
Use standard shop tools and measurement devices.
Quality control
Follow LEAN Manufacturing initiatives and comply with OSHA requirements
Flexibility to work day or swing shift as needed, including potential for mandatory overtime.
Maintains a clean and organized work area, according to the principles of 5S.
May operate a sit-down forklift, pallet jacket, and/or other material handling equipment.
Other projects and duties as assigned.

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
Understanding of quality systems stands tads (ISO/IATF) is a plus
