Salary: 
$15/hr.

+ tips which average an additional $5-$7/hr.

Schedule:

Wednesday
– Sunda y, s hifts are usually 6-8hrs and you would work between 10am & 9pm

We are looking for an energetic team-player to serve the community surrounding our beautiful neighborhood deli on SW Corbett Ave.

Personal motivation and teamwork are imperative.

As you grow in your role, you could learn how to make pizza, and other grill menu items to order.

We need a grill cook with a positive, upbeat attitude.

You should be helpful toward customers, greet each customer, and assure them a sincere welcome and interest in their shopping experience.

We need a cook who can:

Give exemplary customer service, has an ability to multitask and converse with customers, and an ability to maintain an efficient workflow when busy.
Perform store opening procedures and guidelines in an accurate and efficient manner
Heat, prep, stock, and prepare food according to Elephants quality high standards and Health Department guidelines.
Maintain appropriate food levels and production/prep list throughout shift and for next shift.
Maintain a clean and attractive workstation and personal presentation throughout shift.
Engage in active selling.
Know the ingredients of all products in this area.
Present positive body language.

 Keep moving.
Be directly responsible for your own certification and training.
Communicate product information to cooks.

 Troubleshoot and question food quality.
Other duties as assigned. 

Other requirements:

Customer service skills.
At least one-year cooking experience (Grill experience preferred, but not required)
Organizational skills
Willingness to hustle and be self-motivated
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Knife skills
Must obtain and keep on your person a valid Food Handler’s Card
