Overview

The CAD Drafter will be responsible for completing construction drawings from field notes, revising facility record maps and office file drawings, redrafting record maps and drawings, assisting in field note preparation, material rake-off, estimate sheet preparation, and other miscellaneous drafting functions as required. Drafter must have a thorough understanding of the telephony industry standards, plant symbiology and telecommunications terminology. This position will require a functional knowledge base of relevant PC applications, OSP records, Records Work, and computer aided drafting systems.

Qualifications

• Experience and/or understanding of CAD software
• Must have a high level of initiative and follow-up support capability working with limited supervision
• Must be analytical, detail oriented, and conscientious
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong interpersonal & verbal communication skills
