The Construction Project manager acts as a carpenter, working field operations manager, and jobsite point of contact for New Home Construction. The primary objective of this position is to ensure continuity from construction planning to construction execution and project closeout. This is accomplished through hands-on construction work, jobsite management, and quality assurance practices. This Job requires physical labor. Essential Functions • Perform assigned construction tasks (Trim, rough in carpentry, venting, painting) • Provide direction to onsite personnel regarding general requirements, construction specifications, quality, and safety • Manage daily jobsite conditions (cleanliness, safety) and trade-specific personnel • Inspect in- progress and completed work to ensure specifications and quality standards are met and that all work complies with local building code requirements • Act as an onsite contact for inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors • Procure and transport materials as needed • Coordinate material deliveries as needed • Assess and coordinate Warranty work as needed • Other projects as assigned. Sitting, standing, lifting, working in crawl spaces, and use of hand tools. Ability to lift 80 pounds Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Travel Job sites throughout greater Willamette Valley Required Education and Experience • High school education • 3-5 years of experience in construction trades – specifically framing, cabinets, and millwork • Working knowledge of Oregon building code • Working-level proficiency in using smartphone technology for communication/documentation • OR state Driver’s license with clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check • Own hand tools and power tools for performing carpentry task Salary – Depends on Experience 401K Available
