Workplace Architectural Designer

We are looking for an architectural designer or interior designer for a 9-12 month contract engagement for the biggest athletic apparel company.

This is going to be a fast-paced and fun engagement, and is perfect for someone who loves a good design challenge!

WHAT: This building has been in design and under construction for five plus years and will officially open in Summer of 2021.

Throughout that time, the company continues to evolve to meet the needs of our consumer.

We as Workplace Design and Connectivity (WD+C) must now evolve the workplace to meet the needs of our future employees.

Through the design and oversight of alterations to the workspace and surrounding amenity areas, we hope to elevate the future of employee experience for our Athletes.

WHO:Looking for a talented designer with experience with interior architecture and FFE (approximately 3-8 years) to plan, design, direct and execute building-specific design solutions.

You are a go-getter, self-starter and work well with a cross-functional group of stakeholders.

You are able to dream big, see the larger vision, yet also understand how to create the roadmap to execute at a tactical, component level.

You understand how to drive behaviors using curated environments and experiences.

You obsess the details, but can also handle multiple competing priorities at once.

You understand how to drive impact with each and every design move, navigating the fine line between over and under designed.

You are a strong communicator, both visually and verbally, and are able to navigate the subtleties of presenting to different audiences.

Lastly, you are passionate about our brand, and our overarching design ethos.5 years experience in facility construction, space planning, project management

Duties:    Assist in managing and directing large projects; possibly manage smaller projectsAssist in project identification & planning.

Recommend and manage pool of contractors, consultants and suppliers and oversee contract negotiations.

Assist in the successful execution of construction/renovation plans through Facilities Project Managers and within time and budget specifications.

Keep apprised of the latest regulations surrounding facility management.

Promote and advance energy conservation in conjunction with NEAT Leasing and Real EstateResearch and evaluate other (smaller) locations for potential establishment or disposal of business operations.

Select and recommend sites based on criteria such as labor markets, cost accessibility, developmental restrictions, utilities and infrastructure.

Assist in negotiating facility lease renewals.

Manage Corporate Facility Operations and Maintenance: assist in the maintenance of the existing buildings, equipment, mechanical/electrical and safety systems, and landscaping.

Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and ordinances.
