Lead Java Instructor – Full Stack

Overview: Dev10 is seeking an experienced Developer to teach an accelerated Full-stack Java Development curriculum.

This is a fully remote position!

We recruit and hire high potential college graduates that start their career with Dev10 in a 3 month immersive Boot camp.

During their time in training, they learn full-stack development.

Following training, they work for up to 2 years a consultant on various client engagements.

Responsibilities: As an instructor, you will teach class M-F with core class hours being 9 am-4 pm CT, due to COVID-19 all classes are currently instructor-led online.

We are flexible about how much time you spend lecturing, how much time you spend leading a joint class exercise, and how much time you spend in a flipped classroom setting, where the students are working on projects and you are supervising and helping them get ‘unstuck’.

But in general, of your workday, you can expect to spend some time teaching, some time overseeing student’s work (lots of debugging), and some time preparing the curriculum.

We are focused on quality and process improvement.  As a lead instructor, you will be instrumental in the continued evolution of our curriculum, our classroom approach, and the resources we provide our students.  You will have the opportunity to learn new technologies and continue to grow your technical skills while helping to keep our Dev10 Curriculum on pace with market demands.
