Robert Half OfficeTeam is anticipating the need for an experienced HR Generalist to temporarily assist a client in NE Portland.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a HR Generalist and be capable of performing everything from recruiting to payroll.

Responsibilities

Administer compensation and benefit plans

Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment

Conduct and organize training & development initiatives

Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies

Undertake tasks around performance management

Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates

Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews

Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form

Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activities

Ensure compliance with labor regulations

Manage and update HRIS Software

Schedule meetings, interviews, and appointments

Assist with payroll preparation and payment

Process onboarding paperwork (i9’s, W2’s, NDA’s, etc.)

Job Requirements:

What we’re looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree

At least one year of experience as a HR Generalist

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent computer and keyboarding skills

A passion for HR
