Legacy has an opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
This position works in collaboration with physicians to provide complete patient-centered care.
NNP provides advanced practice nursing management of neonatal patients in the Legacy Health System.
The NNP utilizes an expanded knowledge base and advanced technical skills in the delivery of care.
The NNP promotes and pursues professional growth in the following ways: Provides continuing education to health care professionals in the hospital and the community.
Participates in the coordination of outreach education to referral hospitals.
Pursues professional continuing education for self.
Maintains involvement in special projects, professional publication, and clinical research.
Neonatal Nurse Practitioners provide 24-hour coverage and are regularly scheduled for nights, holidays and weekends.
Qualifications:
Education as required by licensure.
2 years of experience in a related field.
Basic familiarity with computers preferred.
Follows guidelines set forth in Legacy’s Values in Action.
Current applicable state RN license required.
National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) required.
Current applicable state license as a Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP) required.
Current certification dependent upon the specific position to include Basic Life Support (CPR).
