Cake Decorator

We are looking for a full time experienced cake decorator (baking experience prefered) for our custom cake shop.

This is a long term role.

Bakery and customer service experience are prerequisites.

Responsibilities include:
Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications.

Tuesday through Saturday (35-40 hrs weekly) Make buttercream, set up cakes, able to make smooth buttercream cakes, decorate using various buttercream techniques Fondant based decoration Interacting with customers during order confirmation (occasional delivery for large cakes) Bake cakes and cupcakes following our recipes You should be able to store bakery products in accordance with proper product handling procedures to ensure freshness and prevent contamination.

Experience and skills requirement:
Minimum of High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of cake decorating and baking experience in a commercial kitchen.

Should have current and updated food handler certificate.

Detail oriented Artistic and creative Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift 50 lbs bags Excellent time management skills Effective communication skills Exceptional customer service skills
