Dawoud Kazimee with Robert Half Finance is looking for a Senior Accountant for full-time employment.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities:

Partake in various department-wide initiatives Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks) Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary Provide Balance Sheet account reconciliations Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary

Job Requirements:
Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred Financial reporting experience required Month end closings experience desired 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience Previous experience in public accounting is highly valued Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required Excellent attention to detail Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment Exceptional time management skills preferred Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills Distinguished analytical, quantitative and social skills Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance Proficient in ERP systems
