A 200 bed Southern Oregon non Profit Medical Center is actively seeking a Director of Quality and Performance Improvement to join their growing healthcare organization.
This award-winning medical center was founded over 75 years ago, and provides the highest level of patient and employee education as a Teaching Hospital. The range of medical and surgical specialties offered include emergency and critical care, cardiovascular, oncology, behavior health, women’s health and maternal fetal services, and perioperative services.
Under directions of the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Performance Improvement Operations will oversee the identification, prioritization, quantification, project management, and success of designated quality assurance and improvement initiatives. The Director will join an advanced leadership team and will provide system-level measurement and reporting. The Director will lead projects such as redesigning workflow for a department, redesigning responsibilities for a clinical role, and designing new operating models.
The Director Quality and Performance Improvement will be in charge of the development and measuring of various clinical quality metrics, and quality improvement initiatives.
The Director of Performance Improvement Operations must have a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, or a similar field. The Director should also have at least 5-10 years of prior management experience working with cross-functional accountabilities and deliverables. The ideal Director Quality and Performance Improvement will be Lean Six Sigma certified.
