– Clackamas Rehab (0.0 FTE, Days) to Clackamas Rehab in Clackamas, OR.We are seeking a Rehabilitation Office Assistant
– Rehabilitation Aide
– Clackamas Rehab that will perform the shared responsibilities of scheduling and front desk support services, general department maintenance including light cleaning and ordering supplies, and assists therapists and therapist assistants with therapy treatments.

Works with multi-disciplinary team.

Must be willing to work in a variety of settingsIn this position you will have the following responsibilities: Answer department telephone lines, directs callers per department procedures, relays messages and provides routine information to callers regarding rehabilitation services Monitor reminder calls System for messages and relay the communication as appropriate Manage EMR in basket message system Greet patients/visitors, answers questions and provides information as needed Demonstrate basic patient registration practices Schedule and coordinate appointments and monitors appointment schedules daily; work patients into therapists schedules as needed Assess and facilitate workflow within the department, e.g.

informs therapists of patient arrivals, alerts therapists to problems Assist in general department maintenance including light cleaning, stocking and changing linen and supplies in patient treatment areas as needed Collect patient payments per department procedure, cash drawer reconciliation Arrange or assist in arranging patient transportation and language interpreters per department procedure Schedule patients for therapy appointments.

Maintains multiple therapist schedules, keeping schedules current, filling vacancies due to cancellations and editing as needed Telephone and/or interviews patients and/or family members to obtain accurate registration information and to arrange patient schedule Ensure accuracy of patient insurance information and coordinates insurance pre-authorizations with Rehab Insurance Verification Specialist, therapist, patient, physician offices and insurance companies Assist therapists and therapist assistants with therapy treatments: Monitor patient reaction to therapy and reports significant changes or developments to therapist Transport / escort patients to treatment/hospital rooms as needed Assist in transferring patients between different surfaces as needed Order, stock, and perform inventory of therapy supplies and maintains inventory of equipment and linen Required qualifications for this position includes: High School Diploma -OR
– GED or Equivalent combination of education and experience Coursework/Training: Completion of PH Rehabilitation Services Department Therapy Aide training program within thee (3) months of employment Preferred qualifications for this position includes: Some college coursework For some Rehab clinic locations, AHA-BLS certification Experience as a Therapy Aide One (1) year experience in a customer service-oriented environment Experience in medical environment -OR
– rehab field -OR
– working with medical terminology One (1) year experience utilizing MS Office Suite or other Windows-based software programs Experience with computerized patient scheduling programs.
