About the Position
Lane County Behavior Health is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Court Liaison working in collaboration with our Forensic Intensive Treatment Team (FITT). This person will be providing community-based care coordination to individuals with mental health and/or chemical health issues that have been referred for services by the criminal justice system including law enforcement and the courts. They will get to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including mental health clinicians, peer support specialists, nurse and psychiatrist as well as many of our amazing community service providers.
The work includes providing screenings, short-term treatment planning, initial care coordination and communication primarily in the courts and at the jails. This important position will serve as a liaison between the mental health community and criminal justice system.
For this recruitment, we are looking for individuals with a passion to serve adults with severe and persistent mental health needs who are also involved in the criminal justice system. If you are driven to serve, this is the job for you! This position requires QMHP certification.
About the Division
Lane County Behavioral Health provides services to more than 1,600 individuals with behavioral health conditions. We work with community partners to provide a continuum of care from prevention through treatment and aftercare in an environment that promotes a culture of resilience and recovery.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm

Mental Health Specialist 1:
Training:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a mental health field, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
Experience:
One year of responsible professional mental health experience, including one year of experience specific to the program or area of assignment.
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Mental Health Specialist 2
Training:
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in a mental health field, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
Experience:
Two years of responsible professional mental health experience, including one year of experience specific to the program or area of assignment.
An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.
Licensing Requirements:
For Mental Health Specialist 2 ONLY – Oregon Health Licensure is required.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
