ABOUT THE POSITIONAs the Front Desk Receptionist, you will operate a moderate-volume telephone system to route calls to the appropriate person, department or voice mail.

You may provide routine information to callers.

In this role, you will serve visitors by greeting and directing them appropriately with a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined.

In addition, you will provide a broad variety of office support for the lobby and its personnel.

HOW YOU”LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Greet, assist or direct visitors, vendors and personnel in a timely, courteous manner.

Either by phone or in person.

Use the Akkadian phone system daily.

Answers and directs calls quickly and efficiently.

Assist with updating the visitor management system Proxyclick.

Help guest enter and exit the program in the sign-in kiosk.

Maintain all updates and supplies.

Maintain kiosk and application to keep aAnalytics current.

Answer questions and address complaints for facilities incidents by reporting it through our service portal.

Submit service ticket when a facilities incident is reported.

Print and place conference room calendars daily.

Ensure the front desk is neat, presentable and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, notebook, etc.

Ensure the use of employee badges by personnel, directing them to use appropriate areas while entering and exiting buildings.

Assist and/or cover personnel shifts at HQ front desk and at other buildings on campus as needed.

Maintain positive open lines of communication with all Columbia Sportswear management, staff, security and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.

Provide assistance or coverage at HQ front desk reception; this to include a possible shift change.

Assist with maintaining and inputting information into the front desk SharePoint site by so keeping information is accurate.

Dispatch employee first responders and send out notifications to security in timely manner when medical/injuries are reported.

Enter facilities requisitions, PO/BPO into Ariba.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

YOU ARE An excellent communicator and have a strong phone presence Highly organized and able to prioritize and successfully execute multiple tasks/projects that are given Able to maintain confidentiality and project a professional business image Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as effectively work as part of team, including ability to come into work on time daily YOU HAVE A High school education or equivalent Minimum one-year experience, in a business environment Superior telephone, written and interpersonal skills Thorough knowledge of PC and be proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel Physical ability to use telephone, sit for extended periods of time, and be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds To learn more about what our employees are doing to help in the fight against COVID-19, click here .
