Job Overview
Daimler Trucks North America’s (DTNA) IT Connectivity Platform department is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to lead the development of its Autonomous driving and Connectivity backend infrastructure.
The Telematics Platform Connectivity team supports the Digital Vehicle Services (DVS) and Autonomous Technology Group (ATG) and is responsible for development and operations of DTNA’s cloud deployed infrastructure.
Our Connectivity Platform team is looking for a person with relevant knowledge or experience of infrastructure as code, automation and systems administration in an AWS environment.
The candidate should have experience leading a technical team, defining and developing IaC (Terraform) deployments, working with big data systems, working with Linux and integrating solutions.
Responsibilities
– Develop infrastructure as code deployments to meet application needs
– Monitor and resolve security related issues
– Monitor and troubleshoot platform and OS issues
– Debugging technical issues
– Maintaining a scalable cloud environment
– Maintain platform and systems uptime – incident and problem resolution
– Work under supervision of an infrastructure cloud architect and other team members
– Work with teammates in developing infrastructure as code
