• The Staff Accountant will perform a variety of professional level accounting duties surrounding the recording and reporting of financial transactions such as maintaining the general ledger.

Overview of the Staff Accountant role:

• Maintain and reconcile ledgers, reports and accounting records
• Assist in the preparation of complete, accurate and timely financial statements
• Reconcile bank account to general ledger and analyze discrepancies
• Prepare and enter journal entries
• Reconcile fixed assets, accounts payable, prepaid assets and accrued expenses on a monthly basis

Preferred Qualifications for the Staff Accountant:

• 1+ years’ experience in a similar position
• Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate and solve problems with minimum assistance.
• Must be a team player who possesses a positive and flexible mindset
• Must prioritize and manage time proficiently
• Excellent communication and verbal skills to effectively problem solve
