Charlie Gilmur of Robert Half is seeking a skilled Senior HR Generalist for a wonderful client in Portland. We are seeking a skilled Senior Human Resources Generalist for one of our clients. The ideal candidate for this direct hire role will be someone who can handle all levels of Human Resources, including employee relations, administration, and other duties as needed.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Participates, leads, and is accountable for team’s KPIs, department’s High-Performance Work Team, and develops staff’s professional development.

• Crafting and delivering HR-related training courses.

• Developing and implementing recognition programs

• Manages human resources personnel overseeing worker’s compensation

• Provides guidance to HR teammates in daily HR tasks related to benefits administration and leave of absences and other important HR matters.

• Work with Senior HR Director, Human Resources Manager to develop policies, procedures, or other company programs that help ensure compliance and promotes positive work culture.

• Resolve employee issues through a pragmatic, fair and systematic approach.

• Demonstrates adept coaching and guidance related to pay practices, including FLSA, overtime, and other matters.

• Trains and supervises employees as needed.

Job Requirements:

• 5 years HR/Management experience. Healthcare experience a plus.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in handling employee relations

• Human Resources certification a plus (i.e. PHR, SPHR)

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
