nn nn nn nn nn n n Responsibilities n n nn Oversees the day-to-day administrative operations of one or more fellow, resident and/or student training program(s).
Co llaborates with the program director to assure Legacy GME programs meet or exceed all accreditation requirements.
Serves as the lead contact and primary resource for all GME-related activities for all employed and visiting medical trainees to include: onboarding, scheduling and evaluations.
Gathers and maintains all records for accreditation, credentialing and reimbursement.
Fulfills ad hoc administrative responsibilities and special projects as assigned by the GME manager.
nn n n Qualifications n n nn Education: nn nn College degree, college training, or formal coursework in business administration or academics preferred.
nn nn nn nn Experience: nn nn Five years of experience in Graduate Medical Education or a related academic environment preferred.
nn nn nn nn Skills: nn Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal); ability to problem solve and exercise diplomacy in handling situations of a sensitive and/or confidential nature Experience using New Innovations or other Residency Management software Superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to work independently and to prioritize tasks Ability to adapt and adjust to new or changing situations Knowledge of ACGME and specialty program accreditation requirements and processes Commitment to provide excellent customer service nn nn nn LEGACY’S VALUES IN ACTION: nn nn Follows guidelines set forth in Legacy’s Values in Action.
