The OpportunityThe Medical Director, Mental Health Policy and Quality is a Psychiatrist role responsible for policies and quality of our various mental health offerings. This role partners heavily with a variety of teams, including Product Development, Operations, Sales and Analytics, to ensure best-in-class medical quality across our mental health offerings. This role requires a combination of clinical subject-matter expertise blended with strong business acumen and abilities.Responsibilities* Serve as the clinical subject-matter-expert on mental health quality and policies* Review and continuously evolve mental health clinical practice guidelines* Develop scalable surveillance and feedback systems to foster improved MH quality* Under direction of the CMO, own the mental health program quality OKRs and develop measurement tools to demonstrate quantifiable improvements in our services.* Monitor member feedback and utilize data to improve MH care* Oversee expansion and governance of our MH network* Partner closely with a variety of internal teams, including product development, Operations, Sales and Analytics to ensure that our services are delivered based on member and market needs as well as regulatory requirements* In partnership with cross-functional teams, develop and refine clinical workflows, policies and quality requirements for assigned product(s)* Develop and execute clinician dashboards that evaluate key performance measures* Represent the company and product(s) externally to clients and investors, including participating in sales and client management presentations* Actively engage in the company’s physician leadership network, including sharing best practices, developing provider trainings and engagement activities and/or other networking opportunities* Actively maintain up-to-date knowledge on the evolving virtual care market and trends, and utilize this knowledge to continuously improve the clinical quality of our MH servicesCandidate Profile* Strong demonstrated business acumen with ability to effectively communicate clinical subjects to non-clinically trained audiences* Ability to set business goals and OKRs, and measurement milestones to achieve* Ability to thrive in fast moving, innovative corporate culture* Proven abilities to implement ideas and processes to improve patient experience* Team-player mindset with ability to drive projects forward* Experience and skill with public speaking, including with clients and prospects* Willingness and ability to travel for support of externally-facing Teladoc Health endeavors (e.g., sales meetings, policy events) (~25%)* Medical Degree in Psychiatry and Board certified* 7+ years of active clinical practice* Prior experience working in the tele-health field required* Prior experience working in a client and/or prospect-facing capacityWhy Join Teladoc Health?A New Category in Healthcare: ?Teladoc Health is transforming the healthcare experience and empowering people everywhere to live healthier lives.Our Work Truly Matters: Recognized as the world leader in whole-person virtual care, Teladoc Health uses proprietary health signals and personalized interactions to drive better health outcomes across the full continuum of care, at every stage in a person’s health journey.Make an Impact: In more than 175 countries and ranked Best in KLAS for Virtual Care Platforms in 2020, Teladoc Health leverages more than a decade of expertise and data-driven insights to meet the growing virtual care needs of consumers and healthcare professionals.Focus on PEOPLE:?
