RESPONSIBILITIES Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst in Beaverton, OR. Responsibilities Ensures standards, processes, and policies are followed within their department Creates and applies global process standards to regional technology solutions Works with systems personnel to implement design Participates in development of project plantimeline Provides input into project management Communicates project status to management Participates in change management at department and end user level May create reports and consult on best practice configuration of systems May configure packaged solutions to unique and complex business requirements Performs complex testing activities including construction of test plansscripts including the expected results and the validation of test results Communicate and document system changes to the business Translate system functionality into business relevant language REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Big data engineering, data platforms and analytics. This role would be focused on supporting data engineering Extensive experience defining tables and KPIs, profiling data, forming and confirming hypothesis via data analysisresearch, conducting user interviews, gathering and summarizing requirements Some experience with Consumer Data (Clickstream, engagement, marketing pixel, communication emailpush,etc.) Most digitally focused retailer, app, social or services companies would have this Strong SQL skills Working knowledge of big data processing tools and technologies (spark, Python, Scala, Kafka, kinesis, AWS S3, EMR, etc.) Diligent documentation practice using Jira, Confluence other documentation tools Experience working with AWS or open source powered big data engineering practices Good communication skill, and ability to handle multiple work tracks Tools Strong SQL – SnowflakeDatabricksAthenaHive Confluence, Jira, Excel Working knowledge – spark, Python, Scala, Kafka, kinesis, AWS S3, EMR With a commitment to innovation, this client employs some of the world’s top engineers and designers!
