Summit Reconstruction & Restoration is a rapidly growing construction company with a focus on exterior envelope rehabilitation projects.

Our company is a leader in apartment and condominium rehabilitation, with many of the largest management companies in the Portland/Vancouver area.

Summit Reconstruction is currently hiring for Lead Restoration Carpenters for finish carpentry and restoration work within the Portland Metro/Vancouver area.

Full Time 40 hrs (+) per week.

Competitive pay starting at $28+ per hour, DOE!

Plus a bonus program for crew leads!!!

Restoration Carpenter Responsibilities:
Knowledge of all aspects of finish carpentry: cabinet installation and repair, laminate work, window trim and door trim repair, etc.

Accurately read & interpret plan specifications; ensure proper selection and installation of materials.

An eye for detail and can produce professional quality results while working in a fast
– paced environment.

Responsible for making sound decisions; ability to work independently and as a team.

Ability to effectively communicate with clients/customers & coworkers; cooperative and team-oriented individuals.

Be able to follow detailed instructions and run an assigned team when needed.

Be positive, upbeat, and honest.

Great customer service skills.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3+ years of successful experience as a finish carpenter or restoration professional.

Ability to inspect, repair, install, modify, rebuild, construct, and maintain damaged structures using carpentry skills.

Be willing and able to have reliable transportation to travel to multiple job sites in and around the Portland/Vancouver area.

Must have your own basic tools.

Capable of working effectively amongst diverse teams and managing multiple tasks at once.

Must have working knowledge of building codes & standards.

Hardworking, motivated, and safety conscious!

Pictures of projects previously done are a plus!

Must be able to pass a background check.
